System Design...

This heat seal jaw combination uses Silicon facing insulation to back the heat seal band, typical on both bars. The Silicon facing is a thermal insulation barrier that compensates for minor mechanical misalignment and thickness variations in the heat sealable material.

Pros: Thermally balanced heat sealing system, ideal for gusseted and thick films as heat is applied from both sides.

Cons: None.
