System Design...

This heat seal jaw combination uses Durit insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is faced with Silicon glass fibre board (Siglaha), this provides the required opposed hard cutting surface for seal and cut type applications.

Pros: Durit provides very good heat seal band insulation and minor compensation for heat seal band imperfections.

Cons:

Is this configuration ideal for Validation? NO...
this system is not thermally balanced.

This heat seal jaw combination uses Silicon glass fibre board (Siglaha) insulation for the heat seal band backing. The opposed bar is also faced with Siglaha, this provides the required opposed hard cutting surface for seal and cut type applications.

Pros: Siglaha provides a very firm heat seal band backing insulation.

Cons: Non-compensating.
